On Wednesday, March 15, 2006 (the
Ides of March), Mr. Kirk
Douglas himself, accompanied by his wife, Anne, made
their way over to the SOCES campus. You see, we recently
had an addition to the school, a playground for the younger
elementary school kids; Kirk and Anne Douglas have a
foundation where they donate money to LAUSD schools to
make playgrounds, so they came over to our school to
finalize it. Below are video clips (the people we interviewd
really took us seriously) for all of you to enjoy.

It is then Kirk's time to give his speech. He starts by singing
a song from 20,000
Leagues Under the Sea. That stroke really affected
him.

Anne's speech wasn't as great.
It was so obvious she BSed most of it. Watch it for the
laughs. Flowers are then given to the Douglases.
