PM - I write this to a Sobe Nirvana, hands down the best Sobe ever made! Okay, so if you look the post's title, we have a lot to discuss! First, I will start with the graphic to the left (remember, that is what keeps this stuff organized, in other words, Carroll posts are very unorganized). Guess who was on The Daily Show last night... President Pervez Musharraf! You may be wondering to yourself, why would a president jump into the seat next to Jon? I've deduced that the reason is because the person who is jumping is super cool. And since the president is cool, the country is more cool; therefore, Pakistan is super cool. The episode is actually really awesome. Basically the whole show revolves around the war and Pervez (not necessarily in relation though). Jon was really cool with Pervez, it seemed like he was having a good time getting a kick that the damn current president of a country was sitting next to him on TV. But let me just say that this wasn't Pervez's only TV appearance this week. He was also on 60 Minutes this past Sunday. I have that episode captured too, but I found this interview with Jon much better so I decided to share it rather than the other one. Download this episode, it's a real fun watch, cos it's so damn hilarious; and for those of you that are Pakistani (or even just Muslim), I think you'll appreciate the interview even more. Here's the page with all the links.
Okay, so today was filled with a bunch of stuff! Not only was there some official Harry Potter 5 images released (Luna doesn't look so Loony, unfortunately. But, that may be a good thing - I think Evanna could be giving Emma a run for her money in the future), but Google turned 8-years old! Happy Birthday Google! (Who else has always loved its logos? Google's inspired me to change my design every month and for those changing logos at the index... I love it.) But does that fill up today's news? Of course not, didn't you read the title? Firefox has released its Release Candidate 1 (or just simply, RC1) today. Its design looks different from Beta 2, which is a damn good thing cos I did not like not having my Crystal Dream theme and the Beta 2 theme was so much different than that. Mozilla is of course saying not to get RC1 unless you're a developer, but you can go ahead and get it, as long as you're cool with not having the majority of your themes. RC2 is supposed to come out early October, Insha Allah, and Firefox 2 is supposed to come out late October, Insha Allah.
And now I'm sad. Why? cos I'm all done with Nirvana, that's why. Ah well. I'm happy again. I'm happy because T-Mobile leaked info on a new HTC phone, the HTC Excalibur, or the HTC S620, dubbed the T-Mobile Dash. I personally think the phone is not the most beautiful, but it is definitely full of features. My SDA is very awesome, but the people who know me personally know that I normally don't stick with a phone for more than a year - in fact, I once went through three phones in almost six months cos I got bored of 'em (and anyone who has been to my house, very rare mind you, knows that I keep them all stashed on my desk, haha). So as you know, I got my SDA in February as a present from my parents, so it's almost ten months with the same phone. I have been sort of waiting for the replacement but haven't really found one - well, except for one. There's the BlackBerry 8100 (or Pearl), which looks damn hot, but lacks Wi-Fi... and I can't go back a step in technology! So I'm sort of split, should I buy the Dash that has everything that I want except for the look, or should I wait for a Pearl replacement that will have Wi-Fi (which by the way has not even been announced). I going to with waiting cos that Pearl is so damn hot. The only drawback I see is that the Pearl won't have Windows Mobile, and I've been hooked on Windows Mobile phones since my MPx220. But I haven't tried the Pearl, so who knows, I might fall in love with it. I guess I'll have to wait, cos I'm pretty broke right now.
If you'll look at the title again, you'll notice the last thing on the list is "Essays". What the hell does that mean? Well, remember that fight that Imadul and I had last week with Fight Night Round 3? Well, a friend of Imadul's decided to write this essay. I have no idea why or for whom he wrote it, but he did and I decided to share it. It is so damn stupid that it's hilarious. So thanks Ridwan Aksad for your hard work:

And to anyone that just saw those two file types, no, these aren't Carroll's words super early, haha. So that's all I got for you guys tonight. I hope you guys are having a fine week and un-stressful week. Take care. see u. |

PM - I was going to title this post "Early Words Catch An 'A'" but decided that was way too lame, haha. So the words are here earlier than last week (I don't mean day of the week, I mean time of the day) - and that makes you guys happy, doesn't it? Some guy with Windows 98 and Firefox already went today at 4:42 PM! Dude! I do not do them right after I come back from school! And I definitely do not do them in advance! So cool it, you know who you are, haha. Okay, so here's the direct page to it, and here's the easy access (not too sure why most people don't get it from here, probably cos they don't read!):
.doc | .pdf
Okay, so now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch the rest of Reggie Bush and the Saints; well, however much I can until I go to class tonight. Dude, the Saints were kicking for the first couple of minutes (haven't been paying attention the last couple of minutes, as I'm writing this), talk about home court advantage! They should have hurricanes more often! And you know what'll be sad? If they lose - cos then people will be saying stuff like "first the hurricane, now this!", haha. I'm sorry. I shouldn't say that. Okay I'm about done. Ramadan is going well so far, Alhumdulillah, but today I got really thirsty - probably cos I didn't really leave the house on the weekend. I'm going to open my fast tonight with a piece of gum in class, Insha Allah, haha. I'll bring some water too. Alright - back to the game. Oh, and Happy Birthday Will Smith. Alright. see u. |

PM - It's that time of the year again. Last year, (it's cool saying that, 'last year') I didn't make a specific post dedicated to Ramadan, (which last year I spelled 'Ramadhan'), I only made a joke about the film, Man on the Moon. But that was a year ago, and my comedy has matured (haha, not really, I would've so made an Andy Kaufman joke if I didn't last year, haha). Ramadan Mubarak everyone. For all of you people that go to my site for Islamic news (not sure at all why you do that), Ramadan 1427 has officially started in most northern countries around the world. The first fast (for them) is Saturday, September 23, 2006, Insha Allah (some of you may have already started). If you want a better site for this month to month news, check out Moonsighting.com, it's a great Muslim operated site that deals in depth with the beginning and end of each Islamic month. I mentioned Moonsighting.com last year, which makes me wonder that since we have completed Year 1, if Year 2, 3, 4, and so on will have exactly the same posts... I sure do hope not. But I just want to say something real fast about why this year's Ramadan was so easily decided, ISNA (Islamic Society of North America) has decided (with the help of Fiqh) to use calculations of when the moon will come out rather than the traditional eye view - this, they hope, will get rid of the confusion of each month's beginning. Yet, they still say to consult your local Masjid and Imams. I just wanted to introduce that to the people that do not know what's up - I'm in no way criticizing them, it's just a bit different, that's all. So to recap my one point, Ramadan has started (for most of us, go to that site to check who isn't fasting tomorrow).
That was the main reason I came here to post. But I decided to throw in this extra thing as well. Remember how I said Imadul and I made a Fight Night Round 3 video? Well, I decided to edit it today and throw it on as a Ramadan treat. It's a really awesome fight between Bernard Hopkins and Jermain Taylor, Imadul, aka ThaDogg, fights as Hopkins and I fight as Taylor (the weaker of the two fighters). I won't tell you who wins, but I will tell you that that person had a good excuse for winning, his fighter was just better - if there was some kind of rematch, the less capable fighter would definitely win, as the person who plays him is a much better fighter. But the rematch might be a much better fight as the winner of the first fight borrowed the loser's game and will probably become an ace by the end of Ramadan [as he is also Muslim, but he'll probably go to sleep after he wakes up and eats for his Sehri (the morning meal) so he won't have any free time to play). Isn't talking without detail very hard and confusing? I think it is. Okay, here's the page for the video.
That's all I really got for you guys. Happy Rosh Hashanah to the Jewish folk in the audience. And Happy Birthday to Subha (who I'm pretty sure still reads this). I will talk to you guys later, Insha Allah. Ramadan Mubarak! Take care. see u. |

PM - I wasn't expecting anyone to really comment on yesterday's post, cos not many people really care enough to comment, Sonia was the only one to say anything; but today is the first damn birthday of my site. Well... it's not exactly the first birthday. I did some digging and found out that the first day that I paid GoDaddy.com for this site was July 7, 2005; so technically, this site has been up for fourteen months... but today is it's official one year graphical (v.2) birthday. And to celebrate, I'm going to be giving away $10,000 in gadgets! I'm kidding, this isn't Engadget [haha, they are giving stuff away this month cos they redesigned their site - I signed up for the Zune giveaway (which I am, I decided by the way, less likely to be chosen for than to be picked to go Harvard)... oh yah, more on the Zune later].
But what I will do for you guys is give you three videos. All of them are old, but are somewhat new to me. The first one is this karaoke from Last Call with Carson Daly from Cinco de Mayo - I saw it a while back (not on Cinco de Mayo) and there was this attractive girl, Suri (she looked better on TV than that MySpace picture), who sang about Julia Roberts. I wasn't able to capture it at the time, but somehow it re-ran and I knew about it, and captured it. I really don't recall to what song she sang it, and I'm too lazy to check, so you'll have to watch to find out, here.
Another thing I got for you is from Celebrity Deathmatch. For those of you SNL fans in the audience, you'll definitely want to catch this. The fight is Mike Myers facing Dana Carvey with their characters. If you guys are familiar with MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch, it's just clay people, mimicking real people, beating the crap out of each other. It's an awesome show. Catch that one here.
The last thing I have for you has to be the best. I initially caught this on YouTube (not sure why I didn't hear about it in May) and then decided to download it via my favorite BitTorrent tracker, Demonoid. I downloaded a torrent (that had the wrong date on it), decoded it out of DivX (cos it had the whole show), edited just the PTA portion, re-encoded it to my signature three formats, and threw it on the site. That last sentence is useless information, I know. Damn, I haven't even told you what it is yet. It's of The Henry Rollins Show - Henry Rollins sits down with Paul Thomas Anderson (the director of Magnolia and Punch-Drunk Love, for those of you idiots out there) and talk to him about film, and his next film, There Will Be Blood, which is based on the Upton Sinclair novel, Oil! - now it makes sense for those of you that have seen me reading the book, doesn't it? haha. Anyway, the interview is really good. PTA gives some really good advice and tells some really good stories. Anyone who is a fan of PTA should definitely grab this video (I'm just astonished that I didn't hear about it through IFC four months ago... I feel kind of betrayed that PTA did an interview without notifying me, haha). You can get that clip here.
Now, I totally neglected to tell you any kinds of stats about the site. It's been up for more than twelve months with about thirteen different designs (you can access them via the menu all the way on top), the first being September 2005. The first was actually a very plain dark design, that only my friends probably know about because it originated on DomainDLX (which I had even before May 2004!) - which was actually v.2 on DomainDLX - v.1 wasn't even a design, more like an organization, that's why I call this site v.2 instead of v.3 - and because the real v.1 is so damn broken, click here if you really want to look at it (not all the links work, so here's the photographs page - I don't think I ever made a Lightwave page, haha). The only thing I have of the real v.2 is here, which is so old, it's scary. So that's a bit of background of the site, if you read through some of the stuff, you'll notice that my sarcastic style of writing is still there, but I think it has increased tremendously, and so has my vocabulary and grammar... I hope - I plan to Insha Allah make this whole modenadude.com history in the future (haha, that sounds funny together). And, in the past ten months, 3146 people have gone to my site (as of 10:32 PM PST today), which is very inaccurate because up until just recently (if you've noticed, I never made an announcement on purpose), it only covered the home page, so that should be multiplied by about three - but whatever, all I know is I'm not getting enough people - enough without advertising online (just word of mouth and writing it everywhere, haha). So that's all I got for you for today's birthday. I hoped to have more, but what can I say; this site doesn't even have a real birthday cos it was started over a long period of days within which many thins changed rapidly. All I really have to say is that this site has been quite an experience, and that I plan to reach year twenty or even thirty before I even decide to scrap it. Stay with me, won't you? haha. Okay, that's enough of that.
There have been some new stuff about Microsoft's Zune, like size and price. So far, all I know is that it's about a tenth of an inch thicker than the bigger iPods and that people are saying that the Zune might drop as low as $250, or lower! I'll get all that info out to you whenever it comes, Insha Allah. To those of you Muslims in the audience, Ramadan might start on Saturday, the 23rd - but I'll announce it as well, Insha Allah. That's all I can think of right now - I'm pretty tired. I got to finish some work before I go to bed tonight also. Thanks for this past year, this site has changed my life tremendously; I can never imagine life with free time anymore, haha. I hope to Insha Allah see all of you guys next year when we're all off doing our own things in college (for those of us seniors, for those of you other people, I'll just hope It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia stays on the air for a while, haha). Thanks for sticking with me. Take care. see u. |

PM - "Ahhh! No words!! I checked yesterday and there were no words!!! Then I realized how stupid I was and checked today, BUT STILL NO WORDS!!!1" - sound familiar? I think it may to some of you. Should I add "No Graphic!!?", cos it's been a good three months since you have seen a post without a graphic. Yesterday, some six people went to the Carroll portion of this site, when you should have very well known that today we didn't meet AP Literature and that we would meet Wednesday as that is picture day (go picture day!). And for those of you stupid people, I decided not to write something up saying to check back today for the words, I would let you figure it out on your own. Now, as of this writing, a record (I think) twenty five people have come to my site, fifteen of which went to that Carroll page (including some random person from Virginia). The reason that it took me so long to get the words up is because Imadul and Carie were over, working on a project for Economics, and we were playing Fight Night all day. Which means... I got some video clips for you... but not until I edit it, cos I obviously haven't had anytime between then and now. So for those of you that are going crazy cos you cannot imagine defining a whopping thirty three words on your own, here they are (like always, here too, but most of you already know that, haha):

Alright. Now for those of you reading this crap, tomorrow's a special day... besides picture day. Can anyone decide what day tomorrow is?! Comment if you have a hunch, or if you just want to destroy my website with your slanderous spam... or should I say calumnious spam.... haha. Oh, and who the hell is that person from Virginia who went to my site? haha. Oh, and don't eat spinach!! haha. Alright, take care everyone. see u. |

PM - Did I just totally skip over that Apple Keynote in San Francisco from Tuesday? I guess I did! Nothing much happened: they released a new shuffle that is soo small, it'll probably be eaten by your goldfish; upped their videos to 640x480 (ahh! competition!!), released a new movie service that lets you download full length movies for thirteen bucks newly released, and ten bucks for other films; and this thing that has been available for PCs for years now, that Apple decided to finally give to their faithful brainwashed users; they call it the iTV... but of course, that's just the codeword, they'll change it to jTV later: it's something that let's you watch your videos and what not on your TV. So basically, nothing to get too excited about. Wanna know why? cos Apple is going down.
See that graphic on the left? The one I had a blast editing? Hell yah you do. It's called the Microsoft Zune. Never heard of it? Well, I hope you would have, as it's been getting it's fair share of rumors all over the net. It's Microsoft's newest toy. But, it isn't limiting its description by just calling it a regular device... it's a damn platform. What sets it apart from all those other audio/video players? Wi-Fi. But what good does that do? Does it let you surf online and download songs via your player? No official word on that, but why the hell wouldn't you be able to? I mean, people are throwing Wi-Fi in cities all over the country; hell, whole countries are getting their Wi-Fi fixing. The only thing that, by what I understand, you can do with this Zune's Wi-Fi right now is to share music with a buddy, wirelessly (for a short time). Kind of like the DS. Except, not playing. But hell - why not? It's a platform, remember? Two words guys. XBOX Live. You guys remember that whole talk about bringing XBOX Live to phones? Zune baby, Zune. Does that mean Zune's a phone? It quite possibly could be in the future. If we look at Microsoft's past and see how damn smart it is at business, you can quite easily infer that Microsoft is awesome at taking others' ideas and making it their own - I mean, that's what we're supposed to do in life, make things better. Microsoft obviously saw flaws with Apple's iPod (even though the iPod's audience, I think, may be a bit different, as the Zune is a platform, not just a stupid music player that just so happens to play videos), and it's doing its duty to make the consumer happy by taking its own spin on it. Granted, because iPods have become so famous in the portable world, Apple get's its pick on a lot of things - and lately, it's got it made on prices. The Zune is (as far as I know, rumored to be) $300 with a 30GB hard drive, while the iPods are 30GB, but $250; and $350 for an 80GB hard drive. But of course, iPods have the smaller screen, no Wi-Fi, no big brother gaming console... so, the Zune is just more for your money. There is no way that from now until its release (on November 14, Insha Allah), Microsoft will not come up with more ideas to improve this Zune. I mean, just read this interview with J Allard that Engadget had - it alludes to so many cool things to come with the Zune. I for one am buying this one, Insha Allah. It's the first device from Microsoft that yells portable devices, and I've always been a strong supporter of Microsoft (even though it may seem I've bagged on them a lot, perhaps even pre-modenadude.com). Just because the guy who founded it three decades ago announced that he won't take part in the company as much as he used to, doesn't mean the great company is going to fall. People like J Allard are going to keep it a thriving company, and follow in the great Bill Gates' footsteps - it may stray from the business approach of Microsoft (which could be a good thing), but it'll always be one of the most brilliantly innovative companies that has ever existed.
I didn't really dish out any specs on the Zune, mostly because a lot is still unknown, including battery life, dimensions, compatibility - but what is known is it plays H.264, AAC, WMA, MP3, photo files; has Wi-Fi, AM/FM radio (and digital radio via Wi-Fi), 320x240, 3.75 inch screen. The Zune is hot, and I back it 110% (obviously, did anyone think I wasn't going to back an iPod killer anything higher than 101%? haha), and it'll be more awesome when it gets a hard drive raise. Oh, and it'll be even more awesome when iPodders realize that they have just too many damn wires... hahaha. Beat that suckas. I was going to end it on that note but I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving you guys with the word "suckas", as I don't think I've ever said it aloud, haha. I have nothing else to say except South Park goes back on the air October 4th, Insha Allah. That's all I got. Oh, I forgot to say Imadul's name. Okay there. 75%, haha. Take care. see u. |

PM - Have you guys ever thought about doing something for days, but when the times comes to actually do it, you totally blank on what it is you have to do? Well, that just happened to me. This post is not some deep message about my life, which you guys will never know about because I'm so secretive, muahaha; the forgotten part is in reference to things I had to add on this site. Let's see... we have those three photo sections, alright, all I have to do there is add captions. Alright, next, three video clips, one of something from Last Call with Carson Daly, Celebrity Death match, and that Comedy Central special Legends: Rodney Danger field that aired last night. Alright. What else? It's not the words, those are done and its link will be coming in two paragraphs... but what the hell am I missing? I had to have some witty yet stupid comment about this week... school's back up, it's probably going to be the easiest year ever - but that's not interesting. I am almost broke, I need to do another job; but why would that amuse you? September 11? Is that amusing? I only made one insensitive joke about it today! Oh damn! I remember!
I really should pay more attention to my graphics, they guide what I write about. Thursday, I did Imadul a favor and bought him The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Now, when I went to go pay for it at GameStop (the one that I like, cos the one by the mall sucks major), Sonia called me up, and when I talk to her, it's as if everything else gets pushed to the side; so I totally forgot whether or not I picked up the game from the counter, and so that night, after I got home and everything, I couldn't find the game! Yesterday, I got in contact with Jonathan (which is the damned hardest name to spell for me!) and he told me that I did pick up the game from the counter - you better not be lying you little asian punk, so either I dropped the game while picking up a penny outside of a Subway near the GameStop, dropped it into the mail bag thing (I got there at 5:05, so there was this guy outside the Winnetka Post Office) or someone stole it out of my car when I was dropping off my Netflix movies in the mail bag thing. So if you stole a brand new Oblivion from me, a helpless and forgetful idiot, then you better return it, or I'll block you from my site! - I now hate two GameStops, the one on Balboa and the one on Tampa - but I went back to the Tampa one to get another Oblivion, and the guys there were kind of nice - they sort of laughed at my name, but who the hell doesn't at an arrogant sounding name like mine?
Alright, so back to school (how about those chairs in Statistics today, huh? So damn slippery! I had to keep my foot on Jessica's chair so I wouldn't slide out of the chair like a baby during delivery!). This year, to help bring our grades up in Carroll's class, he decided to revamp our vocabulary tests. Instead of having true/false questions, which can be damn confusing, we will now match a word with its definition, and for this, I was forced to add multiple definitions per word. Luckily, it will still hit a single page, as of this week. It's basically the same format, just different title (cos Carroll gave it a different title) and it's a bit more organized, I think. I'd put version numbers on it, but I haven't been keeping track of all the edits I do to my format - but I think my format is damn hot. This year, all of the kids are in Carroll's first period, so it makes the dates easier, not like I really tailored it to anyone other than first period's anyway. Okay, so just like it was last year, choose from the following, or go to its page, here:

That's all I got for you today. Happy Birthday 9/11, Happy Birthday Stacy, and Sad Deathday Quaid-e-Azam, my parents go on and on about you - for those of you who don't know, he's the guy who founded my country of Pakistan. Oh - and Windows Vista's Release Candidate 1 just went on the air a few hours ago - so grab it if you have that account with Microsoft, or then again, you can always download it elsewhere. Alright, I'm off. Take care everyone. see u. |

PM - Why the hell are you reading this? It's a damn school night. You guys should go to bed; you know what they say, the first impression is the last impression... I doubt eye crescents serve for good first impressions. Ah hell, you guys are old enough, damn seniors; stay up with me - hey, doesn't that graphic look out of place without a box around it? haha. So, Sherman Oaks CES... a school that a lot of us have been in even before high school. Now for those of you reading out of state (which, by the way, has been increasing lately), we haven't been in the same school for more than four years because we are retards (no offense to those of you who actually are retards), it's because our school spans from fourth grade all the way until the twelfth (which, for some reason has and 'f' in it... they still haven't taught me why). Tomorrow, we will be Insha Allah starting our first year, as seniors. That means, we technically own the school. So everyone, feel free to bring guns and knives to school, it won't matter. Actually I should say that as people in the school might be reading this and then I'll get blocked (again). Alright, so this post has been the most unorganized that it has been in the year that I have been writing this stuff... but that doesn't mean that it's cos I'm now a senior that I'm writing all stupid like this. In fact, of the nine summer reading assignments, this year's is the first year that I've ever finished it on time. I'm happy to say I am not classified alongside those slackers that wait until the last few hours to complete their work, and I'm pointing at you Imadul. Alright everyone, start panicking, cos we're almost registered adults.
On the note of summer work, I wrote this e-mail to Carroll about how he quoted his Oscar Wilde play, when in fact, he should've underlined it. So if any of you are reading this, and haven't printed your essay out (or want to go ahead and do so now), underline the play, don't quote it. Unfortunately, for some reason, the e-mail listed on the cover sheet of the packet he gave us doesn't work; pwr2deppl@aol.com just doesn't make sense with the "de" anyway. But I'll replicate the e-mail here, which he'll probably never see, unless he gets his definitions from here, hahaha; and contains proof for you guys:

AM - Again I'm up until the wee hours of the morning working on this site. I have found out that after the almost year that I've been running this site (yes, that means it's almost its birthday!), I should have made at least $50,000. But because I work for myself, I have only made $43.27, and that I'm not going even take away from Google Adsense because what am I going to do with forty bucks? Which brings me to what will be September's first of many rants, why the hell doesn't "forty" have a "u"? It has taken me seventeen years to work out no "u" in forty, granted, I've only been writing the word forty for the past maybe ten years, and of those ten, maybe have only written the word a good forty times; but why no "u"? I mean, the number "four" has it and the word "fourth" as in "fourth" place has it. It just doesn't make sense to match up the number "four" with "fourth" and "forty" with with the same layout as "forth", which means "to bring forward". Am I the only person who is really annoyed by that?
I say that September will hold many rants because in a couple of days, most of us (cos let's face it, the only people that I do know who come to this site are from my school, which could be a good thing as too much publicity for this site can get me into trouble) are going to be entering our last year into high school, which I'm pretty sure, and hoping, cos I love feeling like the world is collapsing on your shoulders and you are the only one who has the ability to hold them up, and then laughing at everyone else who feels the same; will be a hectic year. Most of us will be heading to college, so we'll have to worry about that this year. Also, Yearbook is going to be hectic, at least for me, I hope, cos this year it's our year to make it not crappy, as I'm the graphics editor, although third in command, I probably will take over my superiors' jobs, Devon and Robyn, cos everyone knows that women are inferior to men, haha - and this year, it's a James Bond theme, and you all know how good I am with themes right? I mean look at this month's layout. A Barry Lyndon theme, extending my homage to the great Stanley Kubrick on his tenth film. Something that not many people know about this film is that Kubrick wanted to stay very true to this film, which is set in 1700s Europe, by using almost absolutely no artificial lighting in the whole film (no artificial lighting was mainly used in the indoor candlelight scenes) reaching apertures of f/0.7, the largest in film history! My way of bringing that to this design is the black and white of everything but the rose, and the color red is used other places, including the shadow of this page, and the favicon. The film was actually in color, but I think it being black and white, and making the heading pure white making them stand out a good idea. So here's to probably the greatest damn period piece ever, Barry Lyndon.
Oh, but I'm not done, don't think I'm wussing out and going straight to bed. I am tired, but I'm not that tired. Remember three days ago I told you that little hysteria about the Emmys? Well, Conan did not talk about it on his show. But, I did capture Late Night and have two clips for you. One is of him going crazy after while talking to Donald Trump about Donald's daughter, then jumping onto tattoos' it's a side of Conan that I've never seen before, haha. A comedian by the name of Marc Maron was also on the show, and he and Conan had a great interview. The things Marc talked about - the one thing about the yelling thing he does... I am totally like that. So if any of you guys were wondering where my anger problems disappeared to, they're still there, but it's now just yelling randomly, but unlike Marc, most of my yelling I find highly humorous now. Marc seems like a really awesome guy, and to be honest, I've never heard of him (or I should rather say remember hearing about him, cos my memory damn sucks), but I really enjoyed watching this interview (which, by the way, I submitted to YouTube two days ago, and yesterday, they kicked it off cos it was illegal... no one else has gotten kicked off! So I shall never do anything on YouTube again, ever. But I got four ratings and I got some comments thanking me... I felt so loved, but I'm done with them - yet I have the same clip here now), so check it out. You can find the two clips here.
Another clip I got for you is one that Imadul inspired me to get. Now, I must say, I have always put on this act of how I never liked Chappelle's Show, but have always liked his stand-up, well... I've always damn loved his show. One sketch that he has that Dave didn't air until he cancelled the show (which I thought was a very good idea, by the way - not only for the celebrity reason, but also like the reason Seinfeld did it, leave at your highest point, that way people will remember you being great, and not being okay with great moments... although, the reaction he got from leaving to Africa wasn't too great. His interview with James Lipton greatly summed everything up, but it was aired a bit too late when no one really cared anymore, but enough of that, he's still a great, hilarious man) made fun of how Tupac continued to come out with new albums even after his death (which has almost hit a decade on September 16th). In it, he is at a club when a new 2Pac song is played which begs the question, is Tupac still alive? It's a hilarious sketch. Check it out here.
The last thing I'm going to talk about is the new Canon 400D - I totally blanked on talking about it earlier, I apologize. It was announced when I was on my road trip, and I never really had a great time to tell you guys. Anyway, they did away with the small little screen that told you all the info about your shooting, and conjoined it with the primary LCD, as well as raised the pixels on that screen and made it much larger (cos they had so much room). Nothing else has really changed, except it's 10 megapixels now and it has this new vibration feature that removes dust for one second from the internal filter every time the user turns their camera on - it's a really awesome feature for those that have a dust problem, I myself do not, although I do clean my camera once a month rigorously. I don't want to upgrade, as I have the 350D, and the 350D to the 400D isn't really that good of a jump. If anything, I want to jump to the 30D or the 40D when it Insha Allah comes out next summer. Insha Allah by then I'll have enough saved up to purchase that and some new lenses (speaking of which, by the way, Canon has introduced two new ones to their line-up; adding IS to the 70-200mm f/4 USM and taking their 50mm prime and raising the aperture max to f/1.2.). Sasan might want to think about upgrading his camera, he has a 300D - and no, I am in no way making fun of him or his really ugly camera, haha. Alright, that's all I got for you guys tonight, or should I say, this morning. Make sure to watch the college football openers tomorrow. I'll capture the USC vs. Arkansas game, but I doubt I'll post it here as it'll be much too long and I don't even know how many football fans even come to this site, and if they are here, I don't know how many of you are even reading to the fifth paragraph of this post! I'm working on those three new photo entries, and should have them done by the weekend, Insha Allah. Take care everyone. see u.
