PM - How depressing is this, three posts in a
row about the words. Anyway, I bought something from
eBay recently, and the seller told me to have a "happy...
Memorial Day Weekend"... what nerve! How can I be
happy on this day in which America has granted us all
the right to shed our tears in the streets due to the
men and (most recently) women that died to save us from
Communism, haha. Anyway, I got the words up for this
week. There is one of you in the audience that took Week
31's words instead of 32 (that I am not putting up) earlier
today, so if you will be smart enough to freaking look
at the top of your damn paper, you will realize you are
an idiot and will come back for this week's, haha. And
for those of you with enough intellect to notice that
this site has titles, but forget the weekly format, it's
like the usual, here or
here:

PM - Clippers lost
Round 2 - now it's Suns and Mavericks for
the Western Conference. I've been busy working with some
clients - but here are the words for this week, this
is mainly aimed towards you forth perioders. It's like
the usual guys, here or

PM - I'm basically putting this up for you fourth
perioders (although first period can use it too, obviously);
hopefully you'll print it out before the test, like
first period does. After a freaking long break (due
to APs), we are taking our Vocab quizzes again. Just
to let you guys know before hand, "Mote" is
in here twice; it is not a typo on my part. Also -
I went to the Clippers'
game with Robyn on Sunday (they lost tonight's by the
way, 3-2 Suns),
so I have some pictures and video (we got on TV, sort
of, haha) of that, as well as a new toy coming tomorrow,
Insha Allah... but more on that later, I guess. But
for now - I'm going to quickly put these words up before
an angry mob shows up at my front door and notices
how dirty my car has been lately, shame shame. It's
like the usual guys, here or
here:

PM - As most of you should know, the Lakers were
not able to make it to the second round, mainly because
it seemed as if everyone became really bitter. I mean
you have Kwame just
standing around, Smush missing
every shot, and Kobe losing
interest all together - it was just not good. Game One
went okay though, although we did lose, it was a semi-fun
game. Games two through four we won, and that's where the
fun really began. Every game after that, we lost, one was
full of dirty plays (Game 5), one was pretty close (until
overtime - Game 6) and the other, and one was just plain
sad (Game 7). I've compiled (with the help of Imadul) some
short clips for your viewing pleasure; I only ripped
the last three games (the games in which we lost...
hmm...) and Imadul ripped portions of the other ones.
I'll try my best to give the clips some justice; by
the way, they're all at 360x240. So let's go, shall
we?

PM - Well, it's May 2nd, so you know what that means.
No? Darn, I thought someone would. Well Tool officially
released
10,000
Days today - I say officially because many people
have had it for weeks (I've had it for about one week). But
I'm here to say - if you have downloaded it, or had someone
else get it for you, please go out and buy it. If anyone
deserves this, it's Tool. And it's only ten bucks!
Let me tell you a story about my day to Best
Buy to buy this
CD. I head over there with the shirt I wore to school today,
my " ISOHUNT"
shirt (which is getting really old; I really should do something
about my old shirts, haha). So I walked in, and went over
to the music section and went over to the "T"s to get
the album. Ænima,
Lateralus, Undertow...
where's 10,000 Days? So I'm searching for this CD, looking
in the numbers section, the "D" section, even under A
Perfect Circle just in case some idiot put it there for
fun, but no luck; this Asian guy in the Rap section kept
looking at me strangely too. I guess I did look a little
suspicious, some Arab guy with long hair and a beard rummaging
through CDs like he lost the detonator for his bomb behind
the From
Justin to Kelly soundtrack or something, cos this fat
white guy with short, crew cut hair and glasses walks over
to me and asks if everything is okay. Normally, a dude in
blue would come over and ask if you needed any help, so I
was thinking, who the hell are you. He had a "Manager" badge
on his shirt, so I decided to mess with him, I was like,
"Well maybe you can help me understand why this store is
in such damn horrible condition." He keeps a straight face
and asks me what I mean. I then go into this semi-racist
rant about how the people who work here aren't intelligent
enough to restock new albums that have run out on the shelves.
At one point during my rant, I put my right hand in my pocket and
fiddle with my phone, but he didn't know what it was. He
told me to calm down and that he'd go in the back to go look
if there were any extras. As he walked away, I had this very
serious look on my face - I wasn't sure if I was serious
at all; I usually get into this very strange mood after I
play a joke like that, haha - and to add, people were staring
at me when they walked by, that Asian guy too. The manager
comes back and gives me the CD and tells me to have a nice
day, and I mumble, "not in a world run by whiteys", haha.
I get to the counter and put the CD on there and the guy
at the register, some Spanish guy with humongous large
lips - he had to be part black or something - looked
at my shirt and then looked at the CD and said, "Why don't
you download it?" That just majorly pissed me off, so I punched
him in the face and ran out of the Best Buy with the stolen
CD in hand.

AM - Wow, I honestly can't believe you guys are
still reading this. After last month, I thought everyone
lost interest, and because AP Language hits its last day
today, due to the AP Exam in a couple of hours, Insha Allah
- good luck by the way; there won't be anymore words causing
the hits to this site to literally cut in half. But I think
it was necessary to take a break, because there were other
things I had to focus on. For starters, I started working
on D-Hall in the second week of April.
I was working fourteen
to fifteen hour days, then I had to come home, eat something,
watch something on TV, and then go straight to bed. The
work hours were from 6 AM to 7 PM, but usually got out
at around 7:30 PM - the earliest I left was 6:30 PM, and
the latest, wrap day, was around 9 PM. The shoot went really
well, I think. It really seemed like it was a professional
film, although this was my first set. The director, Matt
Mabry, was also the writer and producer, so that quickly
narrowed down the creativity aspect of it having one guy
know everything. I was the lowest of the low, a PA (Production
Assistant). But I somehow was bumped up to directing PA
by the end of the week - that's what they credited me as
in the final crew list, so I'm really happy about that.
The film looks great - lighting, acting, directing: all
great. I brought my 350d to the set the second half of
the week to be their set photographer as they didn't have
someone to do it full time. They had Michael, the HD Manager
(oh, it was all shot on the Panasonic
HVX200, sweet) dropping
by after he loaded the cards up to take some behind the
scenes video and some snaps the first couple of days, but
after I brought my camera, he didn't have to worry about
it. I'm doing their site too. Two actually. One for the
production company, Meadowknoll Productions, and one for
the film - I won't start working on it til the end of this
week though, Insha Allah, as I requested that I first finish
my APs and SAT II this weekend - they of course, being
the nice people they are, abided. I'll of course let you
guys know the updates on that, Insha Allah.
